Practice Landscape specializes in research and design-based environmental initiatives. Romie (by typographer Margot Lévêque) was selected for the wordmark. The organic and “inky” terminals, visible particularly in the lowercase expression of the typeface, call to mind the flora studied by the firm. A “PL” monogram was also designed for use on social platforms. The identity is supported by Signifier (Klim Type Foundry), used on the website and additional materials.

Romie and Signifier text were selected as the brand's type pairing of choice. The angular serif cuts of Signifier contrast nicely with the more organic shapes of Romie.
